Hands-On
This year, we will host a single session in-person for three hands-on workshops on March 9, 2024. Includes:
- prosthetic components
- impression-taking
- crown insertion
Our program is designed as a logical starting place and stepping stone if you plan to venture into bigger implant programs or implant surgical training / implant fellowship programs.
Prosthetics Training & Surgical Treatment Planning
Implant treatment workflow from the first patient consultation to the final restoration. Learn how to work with your implant surgeon for the best results for your patients.
Armed with a greater understanding of how implant surgery works, how to successfully restore implants in your practice, and how to better communicate about implants with patients and about implant cases with labs, we can help you with improving case acceptance.
BITE Club’s Principal Goal
We aim to introduce the foundations of Oral Implantology to those practitioners that are new to the field and uncertain of where Dental Implants fit into the future of their practice.
BITE Club – The Program:
Starts with the most basic information that is fundamental to understanding Oral Implantology, and builds on those foundations.
B.I.T.E. Club I – A focus on Prosthetic/Implant treatment planning, restorative problem-solving, progression and maintenance of implant solutions, and implant team communication.
B.I.T.E. Club II – A case presentation-focused implant prosthetics / implant restorative program, with some hands-on sessions related to Implant Treatment Planning, Materials & Methods for Atraumatic Extraction, Ridge Preservation, and Suturing. An introduction to dental implant surgery.
Is B.I.T.E. Club I for you? This is an ideal fit for:
- Restorative dentists looking for a greater understanding of the Prosthetic & Restorative aspects of Oral Implantology
- Dentists new to Implant Dentistry who are seeking a beginner’s foundation program before enrolling in more advanced implant programs
- Implant dentists looking to fill in some of the knowledge gaps that surgical study clubs may not have time to provide [due to limited time spent on lecture and didactic material]
